The Mead Fishing And Hunting Club is a private members only lake established more than 60 years ago. It is a family oriented fishing and hunting club that provides a quality recreation for the whole family.
The goal of the Mead Fishing Club is to have members who are true and good sportsmen and provide them with quality fishing and hunting, and an enjoyable outdoor experience in a select private setting. To attain this goal, all members are encouraged to catch and release, and kill fish and game only for immediate consumption while protecting the environment of the lake
NOTICE
2025-2026 waterfowl hunt info is in the Hunt drop down menu. Due to the low lake level club blinds are at 1, 2, 5, and 6. All others are walk in.
Handy Ditch has filled in the cut and pumped water from the west side to the east side for outflow water pressure. The old west boat ramp and the camp ground main boat ramp are above the water level. It is unknown when the water level will come up and the cut opened. May not be until next Spring runoff.
The members launching off the old west ramp and the main ramp are catching fish. Launch at your own risk.
New limitations on catching Yellow perch
In an attempt to increase the size of the Yellow perch in the lake the vote at the annual meeting last Sept 20, 2025 was to set a limit of 10 perch per outing and to keep only perch 10" or larger. All others must be released.
WALLEYE SLOT LIMIT
*Slot limit on all walleye, you may keep three (3) fish between 15” and 21” and only (1) of the three fish can be over 21”, all others must be returned immediately back to the lake. •
