Hail Damage

Subject: Hail Damage at MFHC July 20, 2024 at 1930 hours

Many campers sustained hail damage from the storm last Saturday night. My camper took a heavy pounding from large hail that came from the north traveling south. I observed most campers had damage.  My roof skylights were also broken out. I spoke to a few members that were camping there at the time and they said it was a severe storm as it came through.  It would be a good idea to go and check out your camper or boat for damage.   I called Camping World regarding repairs and they said they have received so many calls for trailer damage that it will be weeks for an estimate and months for repairs,   Good Luck

Greetings MFHC members.

Great News! The Mead Fishing and Hunting Club has a new website. To access the site click the link (https://meadfishingandhuntingclub.org/). The Mead Fishing and Hunting Club website requires no special access via a password or login, and can be viewed on a smartphone or computer. To navigate The Mead Fishing and Hunting Club website click any of the menu drop down options in computer view and in smartphone mode the three bars in the left hand corner on the home page. If accessing the Mead Fishing and Hunting Club via smartphone, you may need to turn your phone horizontally for best viewing options.

When you scroll down on the home page you will find an “ALERT / NOTIFICATIONS” section.  This area will be used for important dates or alerts that the Board of Directors (BoD) will use to notify the membership.

Each tab such as Members Orientation, Hunt, Fish Camping will have the latest rules, regulations or information pertinent to that subject.

A couple of informational items. The MFHC Board of Directors are pictured in that section.

The President's message is in that same named Section. All current Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations are in that drop down section. Members Information is a good review for long time members and for new member orientation. The section for hunting, boating and fishing has pertinent information on each of those topics. Please read the Trailer / RV Camping information in the drop down section. The camping fee has been increased to $10 a night.  We will be testing a section to archive the emails that the BoD’s send out.  We will be populating the Frequently Asked Questions section as the questions come in.

The last page has the MFHC contact information.  The preferred contact method is by email. The MFHC email address is meadfishhuntclub@gmail.com.  Members Dan Barber and Donny Dust are keeping the website up to date and monitoring the email when members contact the club. They will then forward the email to the correct Board Member or waterfowl committee person or provide you with an answer.  It may take a day or two for a response so be patient, but the emails will be monitored many times weekly. If you need immediate contact with the Board Members or Dan Barber their phone numbers are listed on this contact page.

If you have any recent pictures of boating, fishing, camping, hunting or just enjoying the MFHC property please forward them to Dan at meadfishhuntclub@gmail.com and he will put them in the photo gallery.

Regards
