The Waterfowl Committee requests your help if you use the blinds during hunting season to assemble them in September and take them down in February. Dates will be posted for help. Blind take down will be February - March ** , 2025 starting at 0800. (to be determined)
1.All hunters must comply with all Federal & State Regulations
2. Waterfowl Hunting hrs. are from ½ hr. before sunrise to 10am. and from 3pm to sunset.
3. Hunters must be in the blind ready to hunt by legal shooting hours when other hunters are present.
4. The west side of the cut will be open to fisherman from 10am to 3pm during Waterfowl Season.
5. If no hunters are present by 8am for the morning hunt, the entire lake is open to fisherman. If no hunters are present by 3pm for the afternoon hunt, the entire lake is open to fisherman.
6. Club Blinds & Blind Zones will be established by the Waterfowl Hunting Committee, hunters must remain in their designated blind zone (Boats, laying on ice, etc.). The hunt zones are only in the 7 zones on the Conex map. You are not allowed to hunt from any other non designated areas of the lake!
7. If the hunters choose not to use the club blinds, they may use their own portable blinds. For Safety reasons, these blinds must be kept directly in front of or directly behind the club
blind in their designated blind zone. (Remember, you bring it in, you take it out) ***There are times when club blinds have not been erected in all the designated blind zones. In this case you can bring your own pop-up blinds, lay down blinds or erect a makeshift blind. They must be placed as close to the center of that zone along the shoreline and must be removed when you leave. ***
8. All blinds are available on a first come first serve basis daily at 3:30am. No saving blinds prior to the day of the hunt!
9. Hunter Daily Check In / Check Out: • Prior to hunting, go to the south side of the south conex and you’ll find a log book and a map of the lake that shows the blind locations. • Take the tag/marker for the blind you will be using and place it on the corresponding hook on the map. • Sign into the Log Book with your Member Number and the Blind Zone number on the corresponding date. • Remove the tag/marker from the map and place it on the storage hooks at the end of your hunt.
***Take the tag/marker for the blind you will be using and place it on the corresponding hook on the map.
Fill out an orange card with your name and member number, the date and your guests names and the blind you are occupying. Place the orange card in the designated ammo can.
When finished hunting, fill out the orange card with what birds were harvested and take the blind number off the map and place it on the pegs below the map. Leave the orange card in the ammo can.
Some hunters fail to do this. The next morning when hunters show up at zero dark thirty, they do not know if someone is in the blind that was vacated the day before because the blind number is still on the map. By looking at the blind tag number, the new hunter can look in the ammo box and see that the orange card date is yesterday and the harvest was not filled out, (the previous hunter forgot to take down the tag and fill out the orange card) indicating the blind is available. A card with today’s date indicates someone is setting up their decoys.***
10. All blinds shall be removed by Feb. ** , 2024.
11. Members can bring up to 4 guests. All guests must fill out the required waiver located in the mail box, & all guests must be in the same blind as the member.
12. Hunting is Hunting! / Fishing is Fishing!
13. Waterfowl Hunting over decoys only!
14. No Pass Shooting!
15. Hunters are required to clean up after themselves daily! No Cleaning or Disposal of Waterfowl on Club Property! Waterfowl Hunting
